productive Ramadan

Dear Reader,
Assalaamu’alaikum!

Abu Productive here! Firstly, I wanted to wish you a blessed, happy and ProductiveRamadan!

I want to start off by asking you some very important questions:

Think carefully about your answers.

  • Have you ever set your alarm clock to wake up for Suhoor, only to be awoken by the light of dawn shining into your room, and the sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach that you just missed your only chance to eat today?
  • Can you remember a time during Ramadan when you were so tired and thirsty that you became agitated and snapped at someone – and then really regretted it because you know that’s not what this month is about?
  • Does it annoy you to know that productivity in Muslim countries goes down significantly during Ramadan, and you want to do something about it but know that it needs to start with you?
  • Can you remember a time during Ramadan when the whole day you were just thinking about what you were going to eat after the fast, and then felt bad because you were missing the spiritual rewards of it all?
  • Have you ever had trouble going back to sleep after waking up for Suhoor, and as a result woken up for work in a very groggy and grumpy mood?

OR

  • Have you ever kept the fast at work, but honestly didn’t perform to your potential because you were tired, and then had that niggling feeling at the back of your mind that work colleagues were talking about your reduced performance behind your back?
  • Have you ever promised yourself you’d wake up for tahajjud during the last 10 blessed nights of Ramadan, but then woke up late and found yourself deciding between breakfast & tahajjud prayer (no guesses which one won!)
  • Do you remember a time when you reached the end of Ramadan with a deep feeling of regret because the month has already escaped you and you did far less acts of worship than you know you should have?

If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions, I have some important news for you.

You are NOT alone.

In fact, that list of questions was created from interacting with hundreds of readers via our ProductiveRamadan website last year.

And no, you’re not lazy and you’re actually willing to work hard to have a guilt-free Ramadan. Though sometimes it’s hard to figure out exactly how to fight the many challenges we all face during Ramadan and stay productive.

What if I told you there was a straightforward, practical set of techniques that a reasonably hardworking person could apply and achieve to have a more productive Ramadan?

No, it’s not a magic suhoor pill!

What I’ve got for you

If you’re reading this page, you’ve been invited to be a charter member of the ProductiveRamadan Membership course, which is a brand-new online course that I’ve put together especially for someone like you.

The first thing that means is that you get a crazy good price, because you’re actually going to be a crucial part in how the content is developed for future years and get life-time access!

Here’s how the course works:

  • 5 Simple Modules: As soon as you register, you’ll have access to all our modules and topics which have a variety of formats (videos/articles/worksheets). These modules will walk you through our core concepts on “how to” be productive during Ramadan and answer some of the questions we asked you above.
  • Interactive Learning: We’ll do some interesting exercises which will reveal intriguing insights into your productivity levels during Ramadan. Don’t worry if you get busy or don’t have time to do the exercises in the first few days, myself and my lovely team will be there waiting to help you throughout the month of Ramadan.
  • Added bonus: When the topic calls for it, I’ll tap some friends on the shoulder and get great guest interviews for you, so you can get a really well-rounded view of the subject we’re covering.
  • Live Q&A: We’ll have at least 2 Q&A calls during Ramadan so we can dig into the issues facing your Ramadan and clarify anything that might not be completely clear to you giving you a chance to interact with us directly.
  • Community Forum: You’ll have access to a tight-knit online community of fellow members, to brainstorm solutions, exchange advice and experience, find potential productivity buddies, and get personalized advice from me. No matter what’s got you stuck, the community and I are here to get you rolling again to make this Ramadan like no other.

The modules and videos walk you through my best productivity tips tailored for Ramadan. I’ve also partnered with SunnahFitness.com so they could give you their best Nutrition & Exercise advice during Ramadan.

Here’s the nifty part

(For charter members only) Your interaction on the site will help shape the course for many years to come inshaAllah!

I know what’s worked for me, my seminar attendees, and for my partners, but that might not cover exactly what you need. Not to worry, if the charter group needs a lot more on how to manage sleep during Ramadan, I’ll add more material on that. If the group wants to really dive into time management during Ramadan, we’ll dive into time management. And if there’s some new “must have” productivity tool that pops up during the month, we’ll try it out for you and give you our verdict! Just for you.

Essentially, for the charter members, the course becomes a kind of group coaching program. You get your needs met, your concerns addressed, your “sore points” tended to and you get the best price that will ever be offered for a comprehensive Productivity Ramadan course.

What’s in the Course?

After talking with many of you, getting your feedback and suggestions, and giving it months of thought, here’s how I’ve organized what you’ll learn and all the jam-packed advice.

Below is just a taster sample of the lessons in each module. We have more lessons scheduled, and we’ll be adding, subtracting, or modifying content based on feedback from you.

Module 1: Principles of Productivity

Of course, if we’re going to follow a course, the foundation and principles have to come first. In this case, we define what we mean by ‘productivity’ and how a Muslim views Productivity taking into consideration our ultimate purpose in life: to serve Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala). Bearing this in mind, we’ve tried to cover all aspects of what you’d need from a spiritual, social and physical perspective in the modules.

Module 1 is one of the meatiest modules in the course, because there’s a lot to cover. Once you’ve completed module 1, you’ll have a solid understanding of productivity from a ProductiveMuslim perspective. By the end of this module you’ll be able to answer:

  • What is the Islamic understanding of productivity?
  • What do you need to live a productive and balanced lifestyle?
  • What are the 3 key elements to achieving constant productivity?

You’ve probably encountered these ideas before, but you might not have done anything with them. That’s why the course doesn’t just give you information. It encourages you to translate the ideas into action through exercises. If you’re still stuck after trying the tips and techniques, just pop into the forums and we’ll do our best to get you going again.

Module 2: Time Management During Ramadan

This is the module that gets into the practical aspect of managing your time during Ramadan. You’ll build the first pieces of your “productivity lifestyle,” which takes you from total chaos and survival mode, to proactive planning and productivity mode.

Some of the things we’ll talk about in this module are:

  • The two concepts you need to remember when managing your time during Ramadan
  • How to measure your time and your productivity and manage your tasks accordingly
  • What are the 7 practical tips to beat procrastination during Ramadan

One of the neat things about this module is that it immediately starts to make you feel productive (and that means more guilt-free). Plus it’s easy, fun, and makes you feel good. My kind of productivity.

Module 3: Energy Management (Sleep + Nutrition)

It’s time to tackle the two biggest beasts during Ramadan: sleep & food!!

This is where you’ll learn about how to manage your sleep during Ramadan whilst keeping up with Taraweeh/Tahajjud at night and work/school in the morning.

We’ll also have special modules about Ramadan Diet and Sunnah Foods brought to you by experienced experts in the field.

This is probably the most important module after the 1st one. Because if you can manage your sleep & manage your diet, low energy levels during Ramadan will be a thing of the past.

Module 3 gives you some simple, smart strategies to managing your sleep and diet:

  • How do you balance between your body’s need to sleep 6-8 hours a night and demands on your spiritual life (Taraweeh/Tahajjud/I’tikaaf)?
  • How to get daily energy boosters whilst fasting?
  • What is the perfect recipe for Iftar/Suhoor?
  • What are some of the Sunnah Foods that will help you in Ramadan?

Module 4: Fitness During Ramadan

You might think that exercising during Ramadan is simply impossible. Well, Module 4 is here to prove to you otherwise with practical demonstrations on how to work out:

  • What are the best forms of physical exercise I can do in Ramadan?
  • How can I eat healthier this Ramadan and what should I avoid?
  • Learn the top sunnah foods to add to your diet plus tips to improve personal hygiene

Module 5: Focus Management

Now that you’ve got lots of energy bursting from your body, let’s make sure that you focus that energy on actually getting things done and staying focused on tasks at hand. In this last module we’ll tackle:

  • Why is it so difficult to focus on anything these days?
  • How Ramadan is the best time to focus and ways Islam improves our focus?
  • Tools you can use to help you stay focused

How much does it cost?

As I mentioned, the charter member group gets this for an insanely good price – honestly.

For this launch week, the first 250 members will get lifetime access to the site for a one-off fee of $97!

This is not a one month program. I’m committed to providing much, much more value than this every Ramadan as long as we’re active (& alive) inshaAllah.

The charter members get:

  • Lifetime access at this one-off price as long as the site remains active
  • Full access to download the material, so you can read and listen on your Kindle, iPhone, or whatever’s handy for you
  • Lifetime access to Q&A calls, guest calls, and the forums
  • Lifetime access to anything else that’s cool that I throw in here

On the 15th of Ramadan (or if we sell out), I’m going to close the course to new students, so we can all focus on helping each other make the most of the month.

Next year, we hope the course material grows and our body of material becomes more valuable through the ideas and feedback we get from you, so you’re paying minimal price for content you can always access.

If you’re thinking, I want to learn how to make this Ramadan the most productive I can then click the button below to reserve your spot and become a charter member today!

What if I don’t love it?

Money Back Guarantee 100% - Burst Badge Orange

We appreciate the course may not be for you, so test drive the course for the whole month of Ramadan before you decide whether you love it or hate it!

I hope you’re going to find that the information is useful, there will be plenty of support available for you, and the interactive learning community is a huge source of support (and about the only place you can reliably grab me for nuts-and-bolts advice on your individual productivity), and the experience isn’t just worth the modest cost, but it’s also worth your time and attention.

If you don’t like the course, let me know before Eid and I’ll be very happy to refund your fee. No questions asked.

p.s. If you cancel your membership, and want to sign up again next year, you’ll pay at the new price we set next year. As long as your membership remains uninterrupted, you’ll get all the good new stuff at your charter membership tuition of just $97.
